Maddi Blair Is Here!

Maddison Blair Gipson was born this Sunday, July 8th, at 1:30 in the afternoon. She weighed 7 lbs and 6 oz, and was 19.5 inches long. She was very happy to get here and meet everyone, and Chaney is doing great right now, aided in part by pain medicine. We came home today and are trying to get the dogs to understand what it is that keeps making weird noises and smells different. They are struggling with that. We have seen and talked to several people, but certainly not everyone. As things calm down, we hope to talk to each one of you. Thank you to everyone who has called or come by, and especially to those who have offered/given their help. Here are a few of Maddie's first pictures

Hey girl! I am so excited for you! I haven't seen you in forever, but it seems like you are doing great! Amarillo is a great place to start a family, I grew up there. :) Hope you have a great time with your sweet new baby, and I am so excited to have found your blog! :)

Hey Chaney!
I am so glad I found your blog!
Your baby girl is so precious.
So crazy to see our old house with a crib in the room. Hope you are enjoying it there in Amarillo! We LOVE Amarillo. I wouldn't be surprised if we moved back there someday. I can't wait to meet her.
I am sure we will sometime this year with all of our trips there.
Have fun with Maddie!

Yipee...I'm so glad Maddie made it safely. She is precious and seems so alert for a NB. I am so excited that you are going to stay at home...it is the best ever!!! They change so quickly. You don't want to miss a thing.
Love the room and thankful that Jason is home for awhile.
